Who was your most influential teacher? Why?
Teaching is an art. And the better the artist, the best the art. If some subject is boring for the students. It means that the teacher is not doing justice to that subject.
Throughout my life, I have seen numerous instances where the favourite subject of a student changed according to the behavior of the teacher. In one instance, Jane may like Maths but with the change of the teacher she may not be as comfortable with the subject as she was before. And now she may like Arts class due to good natured Arts class teacher. It is so because as a teacher and a student, I have experienced the direct bearing of teaching methodology and behaviour upon the academic performance and mental acumen of the students.
So, the best teacher is the one who tries to make his/her subject as interesting as possible!
